In March 2023, Karli Pickett became the third owner of Go Outside, bringing her passion for quality craftsmanship and her dedication to keeping the shop's spirit alive while adding her own creative flair.

Karli, was born and bred in Mount Vernon, right in the heart of the beautiful Skagit Valley. Growing up with parents who owned their own retail shops, Karli developed a deep understanding of the importance of quality products and the joy of curating spaces that tell a story. After studying art history at the prestigious University of St. Andrews in Scotland, she returned home to earn a master’s degree in architectural history from the University of Washington. Her love for art and design continues to be the driving force behind every selection she makes for Go Outside. Whether curating for the garden, home, or wardrobe, Karli’s eye for beauty, history, and functionality shapes the unique atmosphere of the store and ensures that every item is both aesthetically pleasing, functional, high-quality, and full of personality.
